The Office of General Counsel serves as legal counsel for the Morehouse School of Medicine. We advise the Board of Trustees, Medical School Administration, faculty and staff on all legal matters involving or affecting the Institution and its affiliates.

Office of the Corporate Secretary
The Office of Corporate Secretary serves as liaison between the Morehouse School of Medicine Board of Trustees and Medical School Administration, faculty and staff and oversees the administrative functions of the Board of Trustees.
Our Mission
To ensure the integrity of the governance of the Institution, the efficient administration of a trustee activities, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for corporate governance and implementation of decisions made by the Board of Trustees

Â鶹¹ÙÍø Office of Risk Management
The Office of Risk Management serves as a risk analyst for the Morehouse School of Medicine and is responsible for managing Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s insurance policies which cover property and liability exposures. We consult the institution’s brokers, insurers, and third-party administrators on all of the insurance needs of the Institution and its affiliates.
Our Mission
To ensure the institution and its affiliates are properly insured, postured to mitigate potential exposure to risk of liability, and that claims involving the institution or its affiliates are efficiently handled.
